The evolution of the Civic

The Civic first arrived in the U.S. in 1972 after traveling across the ocean from Japan. It showed the potential that small cars had, immediately gaining recognition for its quality, efficiency, and drivability. As regulations and trends began to change over the years, later versions of the Civic became more powerful, larger, and safer with each generation.

The current version of the Civic

As of the posting of this blog entry, the Honda Civic is in its eleventh generation. For the current model year, the 2022 Civic comes in three forms: sedan, Si sedan, and hatchback, having discontinued the coupe version last year.
