The 2020 Civic Type R will offer improved driving dynamics
with a range of updated engineering features for better performance. For
instance, new two-piece brake rotors will allow the performance car to brake
more efficiently at higher speeds, while a revised suspension will give you a
smoother, more comfortable ride.
On the exterior, this model is sportier than ever with a
larger front grille opening. This improvement looks to help improve engine
cooling capabilities, enhancing performance. There is even an all-new Type R-exclusive

The Civic Type R boasts a sporty yet refined interior that has
also been updated for the new model year. Its Alcantara™ leather-wrapped
steering wheel and redesigned shifter knob give the cabin a touch of elegance,
making it feel even more premium. This model will also come standard with the
Honda Sensing® suite of safety technologies this year, helping to give you
confidence and peace of mind when you’re behind the wheel.
Performance-wise, the Type R, you will come with a 2.0-liter
turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out a peak 306 horsepower and 295
lb-ft of torque. You will be able to choose from one of three driving modes –
Comfort, Sport, and +R.

2020 started well for Honda. The Japanese carmaker recently posted its January sales, and it’s managed to set a Honda truck sales record for the new year – and it things will only get better with the arrival of the all-new 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid.
“As we enter a new decade, we will continue to focus on our
core values and maintain the kind of sales discipline that has made us a retail
sales leader in the industry,” said Henio Arcangeli Jr., senior vice president
of the American Honda Automobile Division. “The arrival of our new CR-V Hybrid
next month will also bring new opportunities to further strengthen our
light-truck lineup and extend our two-year streak of record electrified vehicle
When the CR-V Hybrid arrives later this year, it will be the
first-ever electrified vehicle in the Honda light-truck lineup. It will combine
heightened fuel-efficiency with the strongest powertrain in the CR-V lineup,
while still offering family-friendly features and ample space.
As for the Honda truck sales this year, many models saw a
year-over-year sales increase. The HR-V posted a 24.8 percent increase in its
January year-over-year sales, which is an all-time record. For the Ridgeline,
sales went up 57.1 percent for the month with 3,083 deliveries. The CR-V also
saw a strong sales report with over 26,000 sales for the month. As a whole, the
Honda truck lineup had a rise of 2.3 percent in year-over-year January sales.
