Rugged good looks come naturally to the 2021 Honda Ridgeline. The automaker recently unveiled the newest iteration of its flagship pickup, and it’s undergone an exterior redesign that hints at its capability and prowess both on the road and off.
For the 2021 model year, the Ridgeline has a sculpted body and a wider stance, giving it a more muscular feel. These design changes help it look even more off-road ready.
The 2021 Ridgeline will also come with a number of features that truck lovers are sure to enjoy. For instance, every trim comes with a weather-proof, lockable bed trunk that can fit up to 7.3 cubic feet of cargo — perfect for protecting valuable power tools, camping gear, and more.
The Ridgeline will also come with 50 inches of flat space between the rear wheel wells. This expanse is the largest in its class, making it easy to load 4-by-8-foot building materials flat on the truck bed floor. In addition to this storage space, the Ridgeline also has smart storage solutions in the cabin. For instance, the rear 60/40 split-folding rear seat can fold all the way down, allowing you to fit a full-sized bike with ease.
You will be able to tow up to 3,500 pounds with the Ridgeline when it’s outfitted with front-wheel drive. If you choose an all-wheel-drive model, you will be able to tow up to 5,000 pounds. Other features with this truck include standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, along with an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment display.

Car and Driver is hoping to make it easier for you to find a mid-size pickup truck. That’s why it recently released its annual Best Mid-Size Truck list, in which the Honda Ridgeline earned the top spot for the second year in a row. Let’s take a look at how the Ridgeline earned the Car and Driver Best Mid-Size Truck1 title.
One of the reasons the
Ridgeline is different from its competition is its uni-body structure. This
structure gives the Ridgeline a car-like drivability, which its competition
doesn’t have. The editors at Car and Driver claim that this structure
helps offer “good fuel economy, smart handling… and an excellent ride.”
Intelligent Truck Bed
The Ridgeline’s uni-body
frame means that it doesn’t have any frame rails, allowing Honda to take
advantage of more space for its truck bed. That’s why the Ridgeline features a
lockable In-Bed Trunk®, which has a drain plug. It can be used to store tools
or as a cooler if you happen to be tailgating. The Ridgeline also has an
available 150W/400W truck bed outlet for power tools and other items, so you
don’t have to worry about finding a plug on the go.
As the only pickup truck to
receive a 2019 Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway
Safety (IIHS)2, the Ridgeline will help you feel more confident
behind the wheel.

When you purchase a new vehicle, it’s always important to know how much it will depreciate over the course of time. Many brand-new vehicles will lose 30% of their value within the first year of ownership. Kelley Blue Book looks to make sure you know how well your next vehicle will retain its value with its Best Resale Value Awards — and it looks like Honda has walked away with five of these awards.
The Japanese carmaker has walked away with a win in every
model type it produces, from its passenger car to its pickup truck. Kelley Blue
Book recognized the all-new 2019 Insight, along with the Civic, HR-V, and
Odyssey, in their respective categories. The 2019 Ridgeline went one step
further and was actually included in the top 10 for Best Overall Resale Value.
The winners of the 2019 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value
